Profile:

En-Hong Chen is a Professor and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Information and Intelligence at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), recognized as a Fellow by both the China Computer Federation (CCF) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), as well as a Distinguished Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). In 2013, he was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He was further honored in 2017 as a leading talent in scientific and technological innovation under China's "Ten Thousand Talent Program" and has been a member of the Decision Advisory Committee of Shanghai since June 2018. Additionally, he holds significant leadership roles, serving as the Vice Director of the National Engineer Laboratory for Speech and Language Information Processing, the Director of the Anhui Province Key Laboratory of Big Data Analysis and Application, and the Chairman of the Anhui Province Big Data Industry Alliance.

His educational background includes a B.Sc. degree from Anhui University obtained in 1989, a Master's degree from Hefei University of Technology in 1992, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from USTC in 1996.

Currently, his research interests revolve around data mining and machine learning, with a special focus on social network analysis and recommender systems. He has an extensive publication history, having authored over 200 papers across numerous journals and conferences, notably including publications in IEEE Transactions, ACM Transactions, as well as presentations at prominent data mining conferences such as KDD, ICDM, and NIPS. His research has been consistently backed by funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program) of China. Among his accolades, he has received the Best Application Paper Award at KDD in 2008, the Best Research Paper Award at ICDM in 2011, and the Outstanding Paper Award at FCS in 2016.

Prof. Guan Gui

Profile:

Guan Gui (Fellow, IEEE) obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China in 2012. He served as a Research Assistant and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Tohoku University from 2009 to 2014 before becoming an Assistant Professor at Akita Prefectural University in Japan from 2014 to 2015. Since then, he has been a Professor at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in China. Dr. Gui has published over 200 papers in IEEE journals/conferences with recent research interests including intelligence sensing and recognition, intelligent signal processing, and physical layer security. His contributions to intelligent signal analysis and wireless resource optimization have earned him fellowships with the IEEE, IET, and AAIA organizations along with several Best Paper Awards such as ICC 2017, ICC 2014, VTC 2014-Spring among others. In addition to these accolades for his work within academia thus far - which include being named one of the top two percent scientists worldwide by Stanford University between years spanning from '21-'23; receiving Clarivate Analytics' Highly Cited Researcher award for Cross-Field studies during that same time period; being recognized as one of Elsevier's Highly Cited Chinese Researchers between '20-'23; earning membership status alongside Global Activities Contributions Award honors back in '18 - Dr.Gui also received numerous awards related specifically towards editorial service: The Top Editor Award for IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology ('19), Outstanding Journal Service Award for KSII Transactions on Internet & Information System ('20), Exemplary Reviewer Award for IEEE Communications Letters ('17). Furthermore he was awarded both the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) Postdoctoral Fellowship For Foreign Researchers back in '12 followed by their International Fellowship For Overseas Researchers six years later. He was appointed as the Jiangsu Specially-Appointed Professor in 2016, recognized as the Jiangsu High-Level Innovation and Entrepreneurial Talent in 2016, and honored as the Jiangsu Six Top Talent in 2018. Since 2022, he has held the esteemed position of Distinguished Lecturer at the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise to various prestigious journals including IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEICE Transactions on Communications, Physical Communication, Wireless Networks, IEEE Access, Journal of Circuits Systems and Computers, Security and Communication Networks, IEICE Communications Express, KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems,and Journal on Communications. Furthermore, he has held positions as an IEEE VTS Ad Hoc Committee Member in AI Wireless; served as the Executive Chair of IEEE ICCT 2023; acted as the Workshop Chair of LANTINCOM2023; fulfilled roles as the TPC Chair of PRAI 2022, ICGIP 2022, PHM 2021, and WiMob 2020; assumed responsibilities as the Executive Chair of VTC 2021-Fall; served as Vice Chair of WCNC 2021; took on the role of Symposium Chair at WCSP 2021; held the position of General Co-Chair at Mobimedia 2020; acted as Track Chairs for EuCNC in both 2021 and 2022, and VTC Spring in 2020; served as Award Chair at PIMRC2019;and participated actively as a TPC Member in numerous IEEE international conferences including GLOBECOM, ICC, WCNC, PIRMC, VTC,and SPAWC.
